Calling Charlotte to action! Join Mercy in the fight against sex trafficking!

Mercy Ministries has launched a new initiative called End Sex Trafficking.   You can help us end sex trafficking in America one victim at a time by purchasing our NEW wristbands!  They are high quality, genuine leather wristband with adjustable silver snaps.
These wristbands not only make a fashion statement, but raise awareness and funds for End Sex Trafficking.  We need YOUR support!  Mercy Ministries has been helping victims of sex trafficking for years, and we continue to receive more and more calls for help.  Studies show that rescue falls short without a comprehensive residential program where victims can be cared for in a safe environment.  This puts Mercy Ministries in the unique position of being one of the few programs of its kind, and it is our desire to help even more hurting young women who have been brutalized by this horrific crime.

Mercy in the Community Luncheon in Charlotte was a success!

On May 12th, the King's Kitchen hosted a Mercy in the Community Luncheon in Charlotte!  Dr. Jordan Rubin, well-known author, health and wellness expert and Mercy supporter, spoke and told about how God healed him from many years of the ill-effects of Crohn's disease, including being wheelchair bound and fighting for his life. Jordan spoke about how much he believes in Mercy and that he and his wife Nicki actually adopted a child from Mercy a few years ago! Founder and President of Mercy Ministries, Nancy Alcorn also shared the history of Mercy and some powerful stories, and two local Mercy graduates shared their testimony of transformation.  Thank you to all the Charlotte supporters, who helped with this awesome event.  Click here for pictures and details of the luncheon!

Busy Summer!

Plans are moving right along for Charlotte! Before anything can be built, the funds and community support has to be rock solid. So that’s what we are working hard to do this summer! The community board is currently working hard to plan for our first event this year in September. It will be a pastor’s luncheon and Nancy Alcorn will be there to share the vision, along with 2 Mercy Ministries graduates to share their stories of transformation! Local church support is vital for every Mercy home and is a huge reason why they can continue to provide care for hurting young women completely free of charge. If you are a pastor or a church leader of any kind in the Charlotte, NC or surrounding areas, please contact Whitney Cantrell at wcantrell@mercyministries.com for more information or to sign up to attend this luncheon and find out how you can help!

We also need help spreading the word in Charlotte! If you have the heart to host a private fundraiser either at your home, at your church or anywhere else, please click here. Mercy Ministries will provide you with everything you need for your event, no matter how big or small. They will even locate a Mercy graduate in your area to come and share her testimony!

Charlotte Home Updates!

Calling all NC supporters! We are gearing up for a great year of raising funds and awareness so that 40 more hurting young women can find hope and freedom through the future Mercy Ministries Charlotte home!
The Charlotte Community Board is working hard to spread the word so that we can get more people on board with this great vision and to get this home built! Mercy Ministries is a completely free of charge program and runs entirely on private donations from churches, businesses and individuals. Because of this, every dollar for a new home must be raised before that home is built. That's why we need your help.

If you would like to learn more about Mercy Ministries, please visit the website at
http://www.mercyministries.org/. If you are ready to help or have any questions about this future home, email wcantrell@mercyministries.com.
